OPAP is starting the new year with a rebranding and an expanded range of games.
More specifically, OPAP has officially adopted the international brand name of Allwyn, implementing, as it emphasized, a comprehensive design that focuses on new, improved and digital-first proposals, real-time rewards, exclusive content, as well as the overall upgrade of its store network, online platforms and apps. Allwyn.gr is already “on the air”, replacing Opap.gr and Opaponline.gr.
The Allwyn brand is already visible in the company’s gaming and loyalty apps for mobile devices. The first OPAP and PLAY stores with the Allwyn brand have already made their appearance in areas of Attica and Thessaloniki. It is noted that the change in the brand name and image of OPAP stores will be completed gradually by 2027, while for PLAY stores it will take place within 2026.
However, the rebranding to Allwyn does not change the name and identity of OPAP’s popular games.
The company’s focus on social contribution will also remain unchanged, through even larger and more comprehensive initiatives in the areas of Health, Sports, Employment and Vulnerable Social Groups. Also, initiatives in the field of sports sponsorships continue, while Allwyn’s international innovations and global partnerships will be further exploited, such as its sponsorships in Formula 1 and the McLaren team.
License for online Eurojackpot
In the meantime, the Hellenic Gaming Commission (GSC) has approved the granting of a license to OPAP for the online conduct of the numerical game with the distinctive title “Eurojackpot”. The license concerns the legal provision of the game via the Internet in the Greek territory, has already entered into force and is valid until March 2034. The price for the entire duration of the license was set at the amount of 300,000 euros.
