Antetokounmpo brothers to begin 3-month military service

The Antetokounmpo brothers, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis and his older brother Thanassis, who plays in the NBA development league, will serve their military conscription obligation in the Hellenic Army, beginning on Wednesday.

The two brothers, 21 and 23, are scheduled to report to an armor training center north of Athens, and will reportedly be assigned to a signal unit.

According to an army general staff release, the two brothers will serve a three-month military term, as prescribed for Greek citizens who are permanent overseas residents.
