THEON is steadily pursuing a leading position in a potential market of 8 billion euros, executing a strategy that combines organic expansion with acquisitions.
Based on its first-half 2026 results, the company further strengthened its position as a leader in electro-optical defense systems, supported by sustained strong demand for its core portable products while accelerating its expansion into intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions, drones, counter-UAS technologies and artificial intelligence-enabled applications.
The company maintained its growth trajectory, delivering EBITDA margins of around 25% and a book-to-bill ratio of approximately 1.0x. These results support management’s full-year 2026 guidance, which includes maintaining a book-to-bill ratio above 1.0x and reaching 1 billion euros in revenue by 2029. THEON also said it continues to maintain a strong balance sheet, with leverage expected to remain at manageable levels by year-end.
Management expects a further acceleration in business activity and new order intake during the second half of the year, in line with the sector’s seasonal pattern and THEON’s historical performance. Emerging opportunities across key geographic markets, together with the addition of new products and technologies to the company’s ecosystem, are expected to support further growth and significantly expand the group’s addressable market.
