Alpha Bank has announced the signing of a new strategic agreement with the European Investment Fund (EIF) to leverage European resources, boost Greek entrepreneurship and support the transition towards a sustainable and outward-looking productive model.

The agreement falls under the InvestEU initiative and provides for new preferential financing tools worth more than 40 million euros, backed by the European Investment Fund’s guarantee. The instruments aim to enhance liquidity for small businesses and social enterprises while supporting innovative business initiatives.

As part of the partnership, Alpha Bank will offer:

Microfinance loans of up to 50,000 euros, without collateral, through the Microfinance programme, facilitating access to capital for micro and small businesses seeking to grow and expand their operations.

Specialised liquidity solutions for social enterprises through the Social Entrepreneurship programme, supporting initiatives with a strong social and environmental impact.

Through this new agreement, Alpha Bank continues to channel European resources into the real economy, strengthening its role in the banking sector as a key partner in promoting sustainable growth and innovation.
