OPAP is entering a new era under the Allwyn brand and, as the company’s management emphasized during the analysts’ briefing, the merged company Allwyn will maintain its main listing on the Athens Stock Exchange and this was the last time OPAP presented financial results.
Regarding OPAP’s performance, during the presentation of the individual financial data, special emphasis was placed on the online activity which, according to OPAP’s President and CEO Jan Karas, is a key growth driver for the company. As noted by Jan Karas, online activities in 2025 contributed 32% of OPAP’s GGR, with the iLottery and iGaming sectors showing strong annual growth (+24% and +17%, respectively).
On the terrestrial channel, VLTs recorded strong growth both in the fourth quarter and year-on-year, thanks to the ongoing upgrade of the gaming machine fleet, which enhances the gaming experience. JOKER, according to Karas, recorded an excellent year, highlighting the effectiveness of the renewed game structure. Powerspin also recorded new highs, due to upgraded features, while SCRATCH continued its upward trajectory, thanks to product improvements and successful commercial initiatives. Based on the 2025 financial results, total cash distributions to shareholders will reach 1.30 euros per share, including the already paid interim dividend of 0.50 euros per share and the payment of 0.80 euros per share, related to the business combination of Allwyn and OPAP.
Rebranding
OPAP Management also referred to the company’s rebranding to Allwyn, which has been warmly received by its customers and partner network. Allwyn.gr has been transformed into a website that combines gaming and infotainment elements. Also, a first batch of stores have adopted the Allwyn brand, while the full rebranding of the network will be completed by 2027.
Accordingly, changes have been made to important sponsorship assets, including the Allwyn Arena. Regarding the new bill against illegal gambling, Jan Karas noted that this is a particularly positive initiative and emphasized that the bill includes provisions for the protection of players and society as a whole. He noted that the company will continue to cooperate with the competent authorities in this area.
