ElvalHalcor Chairman Konstantinos Katsaros rang the opening bell at Euronext Athens on Wednesday, marking the company’s recent 250-million-euro share capital increase.
Katsaros thanked shareholders for their support, saying they had “placed their trust in us to deliver the company’s next major vision.”
He also outlined the company’s next phase of growth, which will be driven by a new investment programme.
“The objective is to further strengthen ElvalHalcor’s position in the European market across both its aluminium and copper processing businesses, while enhancing profitability,” he said.
The company raised 250 million euros through its recent share capital increase, with the proceeds earmarked to fund an investment programme exceeding 850 million euros. Of that total, 455 million will be allocated to production-related investments aimed at expanding capacity and supporting future growth.
