Corfu Port Authority (OLKE) Chief Executive Dimitris Apergis participated in a meeting of the Hellenic Ports Association (ELIME) in Heraklion, alongside representatives of Greece’s port and shipping community.
During the meeting, OLKE announced that it will host the Cruise Conference on Oct. 21 under the auspices of the Hellenic Ports Association and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy.
Discussions focused on sustainable development, competitiveness, digital transformation, infrastructure upgrades and strengthening Greece’s position as a maritime hub in the Mediterranean.
Apergis said OLKE remains committed to playing an active role in the next phase of development for Greece’s ports, with an emphasis on cooperation, innovation and responsible growth.
