Athens-based and New York-listed Heidmar Maritime Holdings Corp. has completed the acquisition of Dutch ship management company Q-Shipping B.V., expanding its fleet management platform and international presence.
Q-Shipping provides ship management and crewing services and adds nine vessels to Heidmar’s managed fleet. The transaction expands Heidmar’s operational footprint in the Netherlands and Turkey while establishing dedicated crewing capabilities in Ukraine.
Following the acquisition, Heidmar’s managed fleet increased to around 50 commercial vessels, including crude oil tankers, chemical tankers and dry bulk carriers, in addition to 16 vessels under technical management. The company said the acquisition is expected to have an immediate positive impact on management fee revenue while further strengthening its integrated maritime services platform.
