With an 85-year industrial track record, revenue of 3.6 billion euros in 2025 and exports to more than 90 countries, ElvalHalcor ranks among Europe’s leading aluminium and copper producers.

It is the second-largest aluminium hot rolling producer in Europe by production capacity, the largest copper tube producer across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the fastest-growing producer of rolled and extruded copper products in Europe by sales volumes. Through sustained investment in advanced technology and innovation, and driven by its workforce, ElvalHalcor manufactures high value-added products that address global megatrends including the energy transition, the circular economy and digital infrastructure.

Operating 15 state-of-the-art production facilities and maintaining a strong export orientation, the company generates around 95% of its sales outside Greece. Its broad and highly diversified portfolio serves high-growth, strategically important markets, including beverage, food and pharmaceutical packaging, land and marine transportation and electromobility, building and construction, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), renewable energy, electrification, the defence industry and data centres.

A national champion with international reach

According to a study by the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE), ElvalHalcor makes a significant contribution to the Greek economy, generating production value of 2.35 billion euros and exports worth 2.5 billion euros, representing 8.0% of Greece’s industrial exports, excluding petroleum products.

Overall, the company’s contribution is equivalent to 0.56% of Greece’s gross domestic product (GDP), underscoring its importance to the national economy. Investments carried out during the 2016-2025 period exceeded 1 billion euros.

An industrial company creating value

ElvalHalcor also makes a substantial contribution to employment. In 2025, it directly employed 2,887 people, while its operations supported a total of 20,920 jobs across the economy. For every job created within the company, a further 6.2 jobs are supported economy-wide, highlighting its multiplier effect on Greece’s labour market.

The company also distinguishes itself through its strong focus on people as a key driver of growth. It has implemented a comprehensive human resources strategy that prioritises continuous training, skills development and support for young professionals.

These figures demonstrate that ElvalHalcor acts as a productive multiplier for the Greek economy. Its operations activate broader value chains, support employment, strengthen exports and contribute to Greece’s transition towards a more sustainable and competitive production model.
