Greek power utility PPC and real estate developer Dimand have launched an investment partnership to jointly develop a new, state-of-the-art bioclimatic office complex at the former Plessas military camp in Athens, setting up a joint company to oversee the project.
The two groups established Powerhub Properties S.A., with equal 50-50 participation, which has taken over PPC’s long-term lease of the plot and will act as the vehicle for the development and operation of the property.
As noted in the announcement, the new complex was designed with full respect for the scale of the surrounding area, with its height strictly limited to 19.5 metres, ensuring its harmonious integration into the urban fabric.
Georgeta Christodoulopoulou, PPC Group General Manager of Support Operations, said the new bioclimatic complex on Mesogeion Avenue would serve as “a model building for sustainability”, designed to integrate into the urban environment while upgrading the local community.
“The project will provide a modern workplace environment meeting the highest WELL Platinum health and wellbeing standards,” she said.
Christodoulopoulou added that the partnership with Dimand, a leading company with proven expertise in green real estate development, would ensure optimal capital management, minimise construction risks and guarantee speed and quality in execution.
