Tsakos Energy Navigation -led by Dr. Nikos Tsakos- announced the delivery ceremony of the M/T DION, the second MR product/chemical tanker of the H.N.1522 series, which took place on February 12, 2026, at the Yangzijiang shipyard in China.
The vessel incorporates modern technological and environmental specifications, responding to the increased demands of charterers.
Its addition constitutes the second reinforcement of the fleet within the first months of 2026 and is part of the broader renewal and sustainable development program of Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN).
DION will fly the flag of the Marshall Islands and is registered with Lloyd’s Register. The company’s management congratulated the teams that contributed to the completion of the project and wished safe voyages to the crew.
