The discussion focused on regulatory compliance, strategic resilience amidst market volatility, fleet planning and strengthening investor confidence with a focus on long-term returns.
In the context of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) decarbonization goals, Stohle underlined the need for a realistic transition plan, noting that LNG is currently a readily available solution, with a substantial reduction in emissions.
As he emphasized, the prospects for the sector remain positive, with technological development playing a decisive role.
