ONEX Shipyards & Technologies officially joined the Hellenic Ports Association, while also participating in its Board of Directors, as decided by the Extraordinary General Assembly.
This development is of particular importance in light of the ONEX Group’s strategic direction for the creation of an integrated hub that will connect operationally critical infrastructures, services and production capabilities.
Objectives
The institutional participation of the ONEX Group in the central collective body of Greek ports lays the foundations for:
More structured cooperation with port bodies.
More effective coordination in development projects and initiatives.
Promoting a unified approach to the planning and utilization of port and industrial capabilities.
The objective is to further upgrade the competitiveness and operational adequacy of the Greek port system, in an environment of increased international challenges and changing geo-economic conditions.
The integration of the ONEX Group into the Association confirms its strategic choice to actively contribute to the formation of a modern, interconnected and resilient development framework for Greek ports and the industry that supports them.
