Angelakos (Hellas) S.A. announced another newbuilding delivery for 2026, a few days after the previous one, further strengthening its shipbuilding program.

Specifically, the company received “Scythia Graeca II” from the Nantong Shipyard in China, following the recent delivery of “Hispania Graeca II”.

“Scythia Graeca II” is the third in a series of eight sister ships being built for Angelakos (Hellas) S.A., in the context of a long-term collaboration with the Chinese shipyard. The ship was commissioned by Anca Dan, a professor at the École Normale Supérieure and a CNRS researcher, with the name referring to the historical ties between the Greeks and the Scythians.

The company was represented by Evangelos El. Angelakos, while the Ambassador of Greece to China, Evgenios Kalpyris, and the Vice President of the shipyard, Junji Maeda, were present.
