Angelakos (Hellas) received the first newly built vessel for 2026. More specifically, the company received the Kamsarmax “Hispania Graeca II” from the Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering shipyards.
The ship, which raised the Cypriot flag, is the first unit delivered by this yard for the new year, confirming the stable cooperation between the two sides.
The new ship is part of a series of sister ships being built by the shipyard for the company and follows the tradition of the “Gallia Graeca II” in late November.
The ship’s name pays homage to the project “Hispania Graeca”, highlighting the historical trade ties between Greeks and Iberians.
The company was represented by Evangelos El. Angelakos, while the Vice President of the shipyard Junji Maeda also attended.
