Theon International announced the acquisition of approximately 9.8% of Exosens, amounting to 268.7 million euros, at a price of 54 euros per share, after completing all required notifications to the competent regulatory authorities.

The transaction makes Theon International the second largest shareholder of Exosens.

According to the company’s announcement, the investment is part of the strengthening of cooperation between the two groups, which maintain long-standing commercial ties. In December 2025, the two companies extended the existing commercial agreement for the supply of Image Intensifier Tubes (IIT) until the end of 2030.

At the same time, as noted, the OCCAR contract was amended, which provides for a binding order of 100,000 night vision binoculars for the German Armed Forces.

Meeting growing international demand

In a statement, Christian Hadjiminas, founder and CEO of Theon International, said that the two companies have been collaborating for years on contracts in Europe and the Middle East, adding that this particular investment aims to secure the supply chain and meet the growing international demand in the field of night vision systems.
