TOP Ships Inc., owned by Evangelos Pistiolis, has entered into an agreement for the transfer of a mega yacht under construction, announcing the sale of a special purpose vehicle to Rubico Inc., which is a party to the contract for the construction of the new vessel.
The transaction concerns the mega yacht M/Y San Lorenzo 1150 Exp, to be delivered from the shipyard in the second quarter of 2027, for a price of 38 million dollars.
The completion of the purchase and sale of the shares of the owner company is expected to take place by March 31, 2026, under customary terms and conditions.
The move is part of the company’s active asset management strategy, enhancing its financial flexibility and maintaining focus on its core tanker fleet.
