In May 2028, the Regency Entertainment Group’s Project Voria is expected to be completed and put into full operation, which includes, among other things, the relocation of the Parnitha Casino to Maroussi.
According to the group’s management, after the settlement of all bureaucratic issues and the completion of the main licensing, the preliminary works of the project have already begun. The first phase of construction, which concerns excavations, supports, foundations, etc., has been undertaken by METKA.
Regency Entertainment Group pointed out that the trend for the land-based casino industry, internationally and in Greece, is moving towards integrated resorts-entertainment complexes, the so-called Integrated Resorts – IRCs, i.e. multi-dimensional destinations that combine hospitality, entertainment, catering, conferences, events and modern entertainment infrastructure.
Project Voria aspires to be a destination that comes to meet significant needs in hospitality and entertainment infrastructure, with a 5-star hotel, a multitude of entertainment and catering options, venues for cultural events and events and a casino. In particular, the aim is for the Voria hotel to operate under the umbrella of a prestigious international hotel operator, creating a hotel that will meet the highest international standards and will upgrade it overall as a destination. The relevant discussions are at an advanced stage and the relevant announcements will be made soon.
