Athens-based systemic lender Alpha Bank this week announced the commencement of a carve-out procedure for transferring NPEs to the firm Cepal, part of a strategic plan announced last November aimed at reducing NPEs.
The transfer of the NPEs porfolio to Cepal is part of the overall “Project Galaxy” plan by the listed bank, with Cepal comprising the first such servicer licensed in Greece.
