Corfu Port received four major distinctions—two gold and two silver—at its debut participation in the Tourism Awards GR 2026, underscoring, as CEO Dimitris Apergis noted, its strategy to transform the Port of Corfu into a modern, sustainable and internationally competitive hub for cruise and maritime tourism.

The organization secured gold awards for infrastructure upgrades and for its contribution to the local economy and employment, while earning silver distinctions for the improvement of passenger facilities and for the establishment of the “Spyros Zervopoulos” Maritime Heritage Centre.

With 894,179 cruise passengers recorded in 2025 and more than 500 scheduled calls for 2026, the Corfu Port is further strengthening its position in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean.
