Allwyn’s management is focusing on the transition into a new era as the world’s second-largest listed lottery and gaming company, following the completion of its merger with OPAP in March 2026.

As Karel Komarek, Founder and Chairman of Allwyn, emphasized in his message within the 2025 annual report published by the listed company: “The lottery and gaming sector is transforming rapidly due to technological changes, new content formats, and the ever-increasing expectations of players and regulatory authorities. As a result of our ongoing successful strategy, Allwyn enters 2026 as a strong and agile business, equipped and positioned to lead the next phase of our industry’s evolution.”

He further added that “Allwyn’s continuous investments in technology and content will accelerate innovation and significantly fuel international growth.”

Performance

According to the report, Allwyn holds a leading position in 7 lottery markets (Austria with 5,000 points of sale, Cyprus with 200, the Czech Republic with 10,000, Greece with 7,000, Illinois-USA with 6,000, Italy with 34,000, and the United Kingdom with 43,000).

It also maintains a leading position as a sports betting operator in Cyprus, as a sports betting and iGaming operator in Greece, and as an iGaming operator in Austria. Allwyn ended 2025 with Net Revenue of 4.11 billion euros, marking a 4% increase, and Adjusted EBITDA of 1.6 billion, with a margin near 39%.

Strategy

The company focused on innovation throughout 2025 with new product launches. Simultaneously, it bolstered its international profile and growth strategy by introducing Allwyn as a brand directed at the international consumer. It also proceeded with the rebranding of its operations in Cyprus, the Czech Republic, and Greece to Allwyn.
