Haris Vafias, CEO of VAFIAS GROUP, was named EY “Entrepreneur of the Year” Greece 2025 at an event organized by EY Greece, in the presence of representatives from the country’s political, business, and academic communities.
Vafias will represent Greece at the global EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year competition, which will take place in Monte Carlo in May 2026.
Haris Vafias stated: “I learned from a young age to fight against very strong competitors. I never gave up. I moved forward and have reached a point today where those same people who once wanted me to fall behind now congratulate me and extend their hand to me. For me, that is success. We continue. We have reached 3,000 seafarers and are moving forward dynamically to achieve even more.”
