Revolut is wrapping up 2025 with strong momentum, a landmark year for Greece characterized not only by its accelerated growth, but also by a decisive change in the financial behavior of Greek consumers.
For the second consecutive year, Revolut emerged as the number one financial application in the country in terms of downloads, confirming its evolution from a practical travel solution to a digital banking platform that users rely on daily for all their needs.
Throughout 2025, Revolut welcomed thousands of new users every week, growing its customer base in Greece to 1.8 million users. This 29% increase highlights the strong expansion of the brand in the domestic market.
Even more impressive, however, was the increase in usage: as customers trusted Revolut for more and more of their financial needs, the total number of transactions skyrocketed to 244 million from 176 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 40%.
Incentives to save and invest
This year, Greeks have chosen Revolut to manage their money, invest and control their joint finances. Investment activity has accelerated rapidly: the number of investors on the Revolut platform has increased by almost 60%, while the total volume of investments has skyrocketed by more than 130%, reflecting the strong adoption of Revolut’s investment tools. At the same time, Joint Accounts, designed for couples or individuals who jointly manage their expenses, have doubled, demonstrating that Revolut is now increasingly integrated into the household financial planning of Greeks.
