An increase of 129% was recorded in five main sectors of the labor market, in terms of the number of employees they employ, over the last six years, according to the Ministry of Labor.

The first place belongs to employment activities (DYPA programs), which created 26,579 new jobs, with an increase of 129% from October 2019 to October 2025.

Construction followed, which reached 40,928 new jobs in the corresponding period, with an increase of 93.7%. The increase in information and data services activities was slightly lower, at 92.9%, with 5,525 additional employees in this market.

An extremely positive trend, with an increase of 86.3%, was identified in activities related to computer programming and consultancy. As a result, companies in this sector created 22,838 new jobs in the last six years. The increase in the repair and installation of mechanical equipment sector was 67.5%, resulting in the addition of 7,608 jobs.
