Athens-based lender Piraeus Bank on Wednesday announced the appointment of Christos Megalou as the credit institution’s new CEO.
His appointment was unanimously approved by the bank’s board of directors.
Previously, Megalou served as CEO of Eurobank-Ergasias S.A., one of four systemic banks in Greece, as well as a top executive in Credit Suisse’s investment banking division.
