The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in April 2023 amounted to 11.2% compared to 12.7% in April 2022 and to the upwards revised 11.1% in March 2023, according to the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).
The number of unemployed persons amounted to 527,706 decreased by 71,351 persons compared to April 2022 (-11.9%) and increased by 4,497 persons compared to March 2023 (+0.9%).
The number of employed persons amounted to 4,166,984 persons increased by 65,128 persons compared to April 2022 (+1.6%) and decreased by 36,984 persons compared to March 2023 (-0.9%).
