Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp., controlled by Evangelos Marinakis, announced an agreement for the sale of the LNG carrier Amore Mio I (built in 2023, 174,000 cbm), with the transaction expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027.

The agreement involves the formation of a joint venture in which CCEC will hold a 51% stake, while the remaining 49% will be held by an entity affiliated with global energy trader BGN Group.

The joint venture has secured a 10-year time charter for the vessel, with two optional three-year extensions, potentially increasing total contract revenues to as much as 485.6 million dollars and extending the charter period through 2043.

The vessel will be acquired for 230 million dollars. CCEC CEO Gerasimos Kalogiratos noted that the agreement enhances cash flow visibility.
