Performance Technologies is pursuing a growth strategy focused on expansion into new markets, acquisitions, and diversification into new business segments.
As Chairman and CEO Dionysis Hintzidis stated during a briefing with analysts, following its existing presence in Cyprus through a subsidiary, the company is planning to expand into Malta. At the same time, it is exploring new acquisitions and is already in discussions with specific target companies. As Hintzidis noted, “we are interested in acquisitions that are complementary to our core activities, which is why we remain cautious and selective.”
Regarding expansion into new sectors, he highlighted that the defense industry is increasingly attracting the interest of IT companies. In this context, Performance Technologies is considering entering the defense sector through synergies with other firms. “We are in discussions to create an ecosystem around defense technology that aligns with our core activities,” he explained, emphasizing the company’s focus on developing solutions for vertical sectors such as defense.
2026–2028 Plan
For the 2026–2028 period, the company aims to maintain a similar growth trajectory, driven by digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and regulatory developments. The plan also includes increasing recurring revenues through managed services and long-term contracts, expanding its Data Management & AI segment, and advancing into sophisticated and GenAI-driven solutions.
Mergers and acquisitions remain a key pillar of the strategy, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, AI/data, and consulting services. Geographic expansion into the Balkans and Southeast Europe is also part of the three-year plan, alongside partnerships and investments in innovative and resilient solutions.
