Electric buses manufactured by Yutong were successfully received and discharged at the Vehicle Terminal of Piraeus Port Authority (PPA).
Of the total units, 125 will be integrated into the fleet of OSY S.A., while the remaining 30 are destined for Serbia. The buses were received at the Port of Piraeus by Deputy Minister of Transport Konstantinos Kyranakis, Secretary General for Transport Stelios Sakaretsios, CEO of OSY S.A. Stefanos Agiasoglou, and, on behalf of PPA S.A., Deputy CEO Angelos Karakostas.
As Karakostas stated, “The Port of Piraeus reaffirms its role as a key node in the supply chain, operating on a 24/7 basis year-round and ready to respond swiftly with high-quality services, even to the most demanding cargoes.
We are particularly pleased when the cargoes we handle contribute to improving the quality of life of Greek citizens, as is the case with these electric buses.”
