The diversity of the Greek tourist product, which offers visitors safe holidays full of unique experiences all year round, was highlighted during the roadshow of the professional communication and marketing platform Expipoint, which took place on November 17-21 in five German cities.
The roadshow events, entitled “Around the World” and aimed at presenting tourist destinations from around the world, took place in the cities of Augsburg (17/11), Ulm (18/11), Mainz (19/11), Düsseldorf (20/11) and Dortmund (21/11).
On the Greek side, the German National Tourist Office and three hotel companies operating mainly in Greece participated, while on the German side, 55 tourist offices from each city participated.
The head of the Greek National Tourist Office Germany, Nikoleta Lekanidi, presented the comparative advantages of our country, the ever-increasing connectivity of Greek destinations with Germany and the activity of the Greek National Tourist Office Germany, emphasizing the organization of familiarization trips for tourism professionals.
Afterwards, the representatives of Greek hotels spoke in detail about the high-standard hotel infrastructure of our country and the services they offer to their guests.
In addition, info desks were installed at the event venues, providing participants with additional information regarding the GNTO website and social media, as well as printed promotional material.
The main objective of the roadshows organized by Expipoint is the effective networking of tourism market representatives (tour operators, airlines, national tourism organizations and regional organizations, hotel businesses, etc.), with tourism service providers, such as local travel agencies, among others.
