The 15th meeting of the Hellenic Technical Committee was held by the American classification society ABS, bringing together more than 40 high-ranking executives of the Greek shipping community.
Participants had the opportunity to discuss current developments and key challenges shaping the future of shipping.
The event was opened by the Committee Chair Dr. Christos Leontopoulos, ABS Vice President, Technology, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Dr. Elias Kariambas, ABS Vice President, Regional Business Development.
During the meeting, presentations included: shaft generator systems for energy saving, advanced electrical solutions for decarbonization, digital twins for sustainable hull performance, as well as the latest regulatory developments.
The meeting concluded with organized networking, enhancing dialogue and collaboration in the industry.
