TUV NORD Hellas – a member of the international certification group TUV NORD – claims leadership in the certification of Data Centers in the Greek market through its new development plan Horizon 2030, which concerns the key sectors of Technology, Energy, Sustainability.
The TUV NORD group has already certified over 2,000 data centers internationally and is in discussions with representatives of this market in Greece. In this context, the international group announced that it has completed the acquisition of EPI, an international leader in data center certification based in Singapore and present in 60 countries. TUV NORD Hellas’ plans also include its expansion into the Defense sectors in terms of assessing the maturity of defense technologies and their dual-use application in the operational field, as well as its expansion into Transportation Security.
The development plan of TUV NORD Hellas reflects the direction of the organization for the coming years and the strengthening of its presence in Greece in the fields of technical inspections, independent assessments and quality assurance services. In the Technology sector, TUV NORD is expanding its activities into the digital world, with artificial intelligence system assessment and control services, data center certification and specialized cybersecurity solutions. In addition, it prepares businesses and organizations for the next era of quantum technologies, contributing to the safe and reliable digital transition.
In the Energy sector, it supports projects related to energy storage systems, hydrogen and carbon capture infrastructure, offshore facilities, as well as circular economy technologies such as the conversion of waste to energy. In the Sustainability pillar, it strengthens the transparency and accountability of organizations through ESG verifications and assessments. At the same time, it supports the design and development of sustainable infrastructures that meet modern needs without undermining future generations.
TUV NORD Hellas has been operating in Greece for 35 years, with 200 full-time employees. Its turnover amounted to 25 million euros in 2024 and its medium-term goal is to reach 30 million euros. It has offices in Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion, and subsidiaries in Cyprus and Egypt, forming part of a global network that operates in more than 50 countries.
