Alpha Bank opens dialogue on AI by bringing the Greek fintech ecosystem under one roof

A celebration of Artificial Intelligence and innovation that included discussions, competitions and moving robots was organized by Alpha Bank at the Onassis Foundation’s House of Letters and Fine Arts.

Representatives from across the fintech ecosystem as well as representatives from different sectors responded to the bank’s call, giving their “presence” with lively discussions and exchanges of views on the “today” and “tomorrow” of AI and the Greek innovation ecosystem.

Innovation Day is an initiative of Alpha Bank, which aims to highlight the current trends and practices that shape the future of banking services. At the same time, it is a Forum that aspires to support the dialogue on current issues in the field of innovation, both among the banking sector and with representatives of businesses in different sectors of the economy, such as industry and retail, strengthening the bank’s ties with the broader innovation ecosystem in Greece.

The event was opened by Alpha Bank’s CEO, Vasilis Psaltis, who spoke about how Artificial Intelligence is redefining the operation of banks and their relationship with customers. “At Alpha Bank, we are gradually evolving from transaction processors to partners of customers, anticipating their needs and proposing solutions.
