Lamda Development, through its subsidiary Elliniko M.A.E., and Cosmote Telekom signed a memorandum of understanding, aiming to strengthen the technological ecosystem of The Ellinikon.
This collaboration in the telecommunications sector comes to support the implementation of the project as the first ultra-modern smart city in Europe that is designed and built entirely from scratch, incorporating innovative digital infrastructure and advanced connectivity services.
The partnership envisages the development and operation of a state-of-the-art fiber optic network, with specifications that will meet the needs of the future. This network will cover the entire development of Elliniko, offering ultra-high speeds and top-notch connectivity to residents, businesses and visitors. In addition, it will be available to all telecommunications providers, ensuring broad access and high-quality services.
At the same time, the two companies will develop joint retail services, offering fixed and mobile telephony plans, as well as pay-TV, exclusively for the residents and businesses of The Ellinikon. In addition, they will jointly offer ICT (Information & Communication Technology) solutions for The Ellinikon businesses, creating a complete ecosystem of digital services.
