Grecotel group is implementing an ambitious investment plan of 1 billion euros from 2020 to 2030, according to General Manager Nikos Bousgolitis.
Bousgolitis was speaking at an event held on the occasion of Grecotel’s 50th anniversary, As he said, investments of 350 million euros have been implemented to date, of which 240 million euros for the modernization and expansion of existing hotel units and 110 million euros for the purchase of new properties and their development.
“Our policy focuses on targeted development in Luxury Resorts, Hotel Real Estate & Branded Residences in 6 top destinations in Greece. At the same time, we are also planning our opening abroad,” Bousgolitis said and added: “Grecotel is steadily strengthening its operational position with a focus on sustainability by investing in digital transformation, human resource development and specialized sales systems. In other words, we are building the infrastructure that will shape the Grecotel of the next fifty years.”
The Grecotel group’s strategy focuses on the expansion of large developments, the creation of new units in Crete, Corfu, Kos, Peloponnese, Thrace, new luxury hotel brands and entry into the country holiday home market. The development of new units further strengthens the group’s presence in key destinations, upgrading the overall tourism product and creating new jobs.
