Strong profitability, a stable dividend policy and strategic moves to strengthen the fleet and liquidity characterized the third quarter of Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp., confirming the dynamic market for Capesize.
Seanergy recorded an increase in quarterly revenue, reaching 47 million dollars from 44.4 million dollars, while it boosted its cash flow and proceeded with the distribution of the 16th consecutive quarterly dividend of 0.13 dollars per share for the third quarter of 2025 and 2.44 dollars in total.
It also proceeded with the first shipbuilding order in its history. This is a cape that will be built in a Chinese shipyard.
The president and CEO, Stamatis Tsantanis, emphasized: “The third quarter confirmed the solid momentum of Seanergy. We recorded strong profitability, remaining committed to creating value for our shareholders.
We have capitalized on the recovery of the Capesize market and remained consistent with our strategy: a stable dividend policy, strong liquidity and targeted fleet renewal investments.”
Regarding the market, Tsantanis explained: “The fundamental picture of the Capesize market remains very positive. Increased iron ore export activity from Brazil and continued strong demand for bauxite and coal are keeping freight rates at consistently strong levels.
At the same time, orders for new Capesize vessels represent less than 10% of the existing fleet, while trade flows are expected to increase in 2026.”
As the company underlined, with a fleet of 20 high-end Capesize and Newcastlemax vessels, a strong balance sheet and a clear growth strategy, it is in an extremely advantageous position to capitalize on the positive market trend and continue to create long-term value for its shareholders.
