Eurobank: Strategic partnership with EY-Microsoft for the adoption of Agentic AI in the banking industry

Eurobank joined forces with EY and Microsoft to create a next-generation AI Factory and integrate Agentic AI into the banking industry.

This initiative marks a significant milestone, as it places Eurobank at the forefront of innovation in Agentic AI in Southern Europe.

Agentic AI in Southern Europe

As part of its strategic partnership with Fairfax Digital Services (a member of the Fairfax Group), Eurobank is accelerating its digital transformation through cutting-edge technologies with the support of EY and Microsoft, as well as the creation of a next-generation AI Factory.

The AI factory to be created will be a dynamic large-scale platform, based on EY.ai’s agentic architecture and enhanced by NVIDIA’s computing power. In close collaboration with the EY AI & Data Centre of Excellence teams in Greece, Eurobank will therefore develop a scalable and automated system to integrate Agentic AI into the core of its banking operations, moving from pilot programs to large-scale applications. At the same time, leveraging Microsoft Azure and the EY.ai AgenticPlatform, the Bank will shape intelligent systems that enhance efficiency, flexibility and a fully personalized service experience. Its goal is to systematize AI development, for the rapid deployment of solutions that upgrade customer experience and operational efficiency.

This initiative, at the same time, aims to bring together leading technology organizations and financial services experts, which places Eurobank at the forefront of the adoption of Agentic AI (Artificial Intelligence with Autonomous Action Capability) in the banking industry and sets the stage for a new model of AI banking in Europe.
