The strategic plan to transform ONEX into an integrated industrial and energy hub was presented at the Delphi Economic Forum XI by the company’s Chairman and CEO, Panos Xenokostas.

As he noted, the revival of the shipyards in Syros and Elefsis constitutes a “national success,” restoring Greece’s position on the global industrial map. ONEX has already serviced close to 890 vessels, with a target of reaching 1,000 by the end of the year, while it is moving forward with a 200-euro-million investment to establish a tugboat production line.

At the same time, particular emphasis is being placed on the port of Elefsis, which forms part of a broader logistics strategy linking the Mediterranean with Europe. With total investments of 1.1 billion euros and international partnerships, the group is aiming for a 5 billion euro valuation by 2030.
