The implementation of the European strategy in the maritime industry and ports will be at the centre of a high-level meeting to be held on April 30, 2026, at the Eugenides Foundation, bringing together leading representatives from Greece and across Europe.
Key speakers will include European Commissioner for Transport Apostolos Tzitzikostas and Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy Vasilis Kikilias, underlining the significance of th initiative. The event is organised by the Waterborne Technology Platform in cooperation with the Eugenides Foundation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
Waterborne TP comprises 130 members from 19 EU Member States and four European countries associated with the Horizon Europe programme. The focus will be on innovation, competitiveness and skills, while nine Action Plans covering new technologies and key sectors of the blue economy will be presented.
