Navios Maritime Partners L.P. is focusing on sustained investment across three key shipping segments—tankers, dry bulk carriers and containerships—Chairwoman and Chief Executive Angeliki Frangou said in an interview with a Japanese media outlet.
Frangou said diversification is a central pillar of the group’s strategy, enabling it to flexibly capture opportunities arising from shifting market conditions. In the tanker segment, she noted that constrained supply, combined with geopolitical developments and sanctions, is supporting demand for modern product and crude carriers.
In dry bulk, increased iron ore production in the Atlantic basin is creating strong medium-term demand drivers, particularly for Capesize vessels.
She also highlighted the company’s close ties with Japan, including long-standing partnerships with shipyards, charterers and financial institutions.
