Navios Maritime Partners, led by Angeliki Frangou, has taken delivery of two new tankers.
According to a company announcement, the newly built tanker “Nave Equator” has been delivered, while its sister vessel, “Nave Hina,” successfully completed sea trials and is expected to enter commercial operations immediately.
Both vessels belong to the Aframax class, which is considered highly versatile during periods of significant maritime transport disruption, such as the ongoing Middle East crisis.
This choice reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in market segments that demonstrate greater resilience compared to Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs).
“As of February 12, 2026, the company had secured 71.4% of its available fleet days for 2026 and 43.2% for 2027 through a combination of charters.”
