Alexandros Prokopakis, Executive Director of IBIA, participated alongside Namrata Nadkarni, Managing Director of Intent Communications Ltd, and editor Edward Parshotam in evaluating the results of the second round of a comparative assessment of five leading artificial intelligence models.
The exercise, organized on a monthly basis by Intent Communications, examines the performance of the free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini, and Grok in responding to queries with a strictly maritime focus. In this particular round, the question focused on identifying the top three ports for bunkering and assessing whether they are likely to maintain a leading role in alternative fuels through to 2050.
Based on the overall scoring, ChatGPT ranked first, followed by Grok in second place and Claude in third, with Alexandros Prokopakis placing particular emphasis on the reliability of sources and the clarity of analysis.
