The Thessaloniki Port Authority (ThPA S.A.) is set to make a dynamic presence at Seatrade Cruise Global 2026, the largest annual gathering of the global cruise industry, taking place from April 13 to 16 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
At the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) pavilion, ThPA S.A. will showcase Thessaloniki’s prospects as an emerging cruise destination, highlighting the city’s and the wider region’s competitive advantages. In 2025, the Port of Thessaloniki welcomed approximately 86,000 cruise passengers, confirming its steadily growing presence on the international cruise map.
The company’s CEO, Ioannis Tsaras, noted that Thessaloniki holds significant potential in the cruise sector, with the aim of attracting more cruise operators and developing a competitive and sustainable product in this segment.
