The Norwegian Ambassador Harriet E. Berg met with the President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, George S. Alexandratos, and the Executive Committee, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between Greece and Norway in the maritime sector.
The discussion focused on the green transition, the competitiveness of shipping and the development of international partnerships.
It is noted that the Chamber is the official advisor to the State on shipping matters and operates as a Legal Entity of Public Law, with the main mission of protecting and promoting the interests of Greek merchant shipping.
Through the cooperation of its members and its contribution to policy-making, it supports the development of the sector for the benefit of the national economy and the international presence of Greek shipping.
