Demand for travel remains strong this Easter, as the average load factor for AEGEAN flights exceeds 75% on both its domestic and international routes. According to Aegean, traffic is particularly high, close to last year’s levels. Some destinations have load factors exceeding 85%, mainly on the international network.
Although the outbreak of war led to increased flight cancellations to the Middle East, demand from Greek travelers remains at similarly high levels compared to Easter 2025, focused primarily on destinations in the Iberian Peninsula, Morocco, and the Scandinavian countries.
The top five international destinations to/from Athens are Stockholm, Helsinki, Bologna, Luxembourg, and Bilbao, while the top five domestic destinations to/from Athens are Karpathos, Samos, Alexandroupolis, Leros, and Ioannina.
The top five international destinations to and from Thessaloniki are Barcelona, Brussels, Milan, Larnaca, and Rome, while on the domestic network, the top five destinations are Kos, Santorini, Lemnos, Rhodes, and Mykonos.
