Avalanche on Mt. Olympus kills two mountain climbers

The bodies of two mountain climbers were recovered along a slope of Mt. Olympus late on Thursday, after the pair fatally injured during an avalanche on Greece’s highest peak.

The two men were identified as physicians at a public hospital in the central city of Larissa. Another climber in their party, who was unharmed, first notified rescue crews of the incident.
