A mini heat wave punctuated by strong thunderstorms is forecast over the coming 48-hour period in Greece.
Temperatures of above 40C are forecast on Wednesday in parts of central and southern Greece.
Thunder storms are forecast in the early evening of Wednesday and extending over early Thursday morning in northern Greece and the northern Aegean.
