The foreign minister of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (fYRoM) on Monday was quoted by Reuters as saying that the land-locked country to Greece’s north is waiting for a “green light” this week in order to begin accession negotiations with NATO.
fYRoM FM Nikola Dimitrov referred to high hopes for a NATO invitation, on the sidelines of an Alliance meeting in London, and focusing on the western Balkans.
