The Olympiacos BC team failed to show up on Monday for the first game of a playoff series against arch-rivals Panathinaikos BC, as the team’s owners and management had promised throughout the past few days, a decision that may cost the popular Piraeus basketball club relegation to the second division.
Officially, Panathinaikos was declared the winner of the game at the Athens Olympic indoor arena with a score of 20-0.
