A Greek-Israeli defense agreement reportedly foresees the leasing by the former of Heron UAVs, produced by the Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd, according to Bloomberg on Wednesday.
The report cites a sources in the Israeli defense ministry, and refers to a three-year contract with an option to purchase.
Greece and Israel have stepped up cooperation in several strategic sectors over the past few years, including defense.
